This week started with a trip up to Eloui the Maasai village where we previously lived! We visited Isaya's boma at got the chance to pick up all the jewellery we had ordered so I got myself a pretty new necklace! Getting quite a jewellery collection now! It was cool to be back around the Maasai again but was a boling hot day!
On Thursday was Jinka's birthday so we had a BBQ for dinner - meat yum yum! the food was so good! We also had a really tasty birthday cake decorated with funky icing! All good! Then the evening was spent drinking and partying with a little Maasai jumping and a bit of karoake by myself and Julius although we were pretty poor due to not knowing the words of the song!
This week also spelled the end of my carrer as a maths teacher and I definately won't be taking this on as a career - We had a maths test for the students this week which one puil got 70% very impressive however the others did poorly! It was our final lesson on Friday and our students were very sad to see us leave so we had a big photo session at the end of the lesson and swapped email addresses! One of the students also wrote u a letter to say thanks and gave us a necklace which was so sweet!
Saturday we had a big night out in Mesarini with the teachers from the school - true to form it was very drunken and there was a lot of crazy dancing! th konyagi went down very well!
