If only it could be a four day week every week!

I had a three day weekend this weekend which was just wicked! It was just what I needed after a rubbish week last week! and what a weekend it was....

It started off with a night in the pub on Friday night which got a bit messy! I just went out with one of the girls which was a right laugh and we bumped into a few people we went to school with. Ended up very drunken and my friend was very amusing having lost the ability to stand up ( I think we've all been there)! And for once the hangover on Saturday was not too bad - i was impressed!

Then Saturday I headed up to Clapham for lunch with another of the girls we ate some yummy food and had a good old gossip! What a brilliant way to spend a Saturday! After that I went to see my friends new flat and then her boyfriend dragged us down the pub to watch the football an experience I do not think he will be repeating! I am not really a fan of football and found it far more entertaining watching everyone else watching the football - people's reactions and facial expressions can be very amusing! Once the football was over I went to Balham for a drink with a couple of my boys from university and such topics as the dos and don'ts on first dates and what a girls carries in her handbag were discussed!

Sunday I had a really good chill out lazed in front of the TV most of the day watching SATC - I am a big fan!!!

On Monday I had the day off work (Yippeeee!!!!) as it was my friends 25th Birthday (This is the drunken friend from earlier!) and we headed down to Longleat for the day - what an amazing day we had - the safari was just brilliant so cool to be driving so close to the animals and having them crossing the road in front of you. We saw rhinos, zebras, monkeys, lions, tigers, giraffes, wolves to mention a few!
Then after that we went on a boat ride where we saw sea lions, gorillas and to top it off there were hippos now that was fantastic (I love the Hippos!!!!). It was such a great day I would definatley recommend it to anyone especially if you love animals - It has definately put me in the mood for my trip to africa!

Then when we got back from Longleat the rest of the girls had cooked a supprise dinner for the birthday girl! What a good day! It is always lovely to get all my girlies together all at once as these days it can be so difficult to get everyone in the same place at the same time!

Hey Bex,

If only that was possible. 4 day w/e would be legendary. Glad you've started up online. Sounds great fun!

Keep up with the posting.
